The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us, because there is no server of ours to send it to.
If you allow it, the app reads your location to work out prayer times for where you are and to show your city's name. Your location is stored only on your device.
What happens to your coordinates depends on the provider you choose in Settings:
If you would rather not transmit your location at all, choose the on-device provider, or search for a place by name instead of using GPS.
Fetching a timetable makes an ordinary HTTPS request to the provider you selected: api.myquran.com (serving the Kemenag timetable), e-solat.gov.my (JAKIM), or aladhan.com. Those services receive the request and your device's IP address, as with any web request. Apple's geocoding service is used to turn coordinates into a place name.
Your settings, the last known location, and downloaded timetables are cached locally so the app works offline. Deleting the app removes all of it.
Prayer reminders are scheduled locally by your device. No push server is involved and no notification data leaves your phone.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
